Imo Haile Rice

Harlem-born, Bronx-raised, Founder/Director Imo Haile Rice of The Budgetarians, Inc. is one of the most creative minded, sought-after conceptualist in the industry. Former Talent Executive for the highly recognizable cable network owned by Viacom Inc, BET Networks. Rice’s responsibilities included booking celebrity talent for top rated programs 106&Park, Rap City, BET Special, and etc. The ambitious thirty five year old wanted more out of his career and through a much thought out plan, he formed his own production company The Budgetarians, Inc.

Rice's work is widely recognized for its cinematic scope, engaging sense of narrative, and humorous irreverence. Imo Haile has shot a commercial for MJ Impulse and ServCorp. His extensive resume also includes cinematography for NIKE, Slam Magazine, Arise TV, Boys & Girls Club of Union County, New Jersey Army National Guard. Imo Haile penned his first on-air project that debut on BET’s 106&Park, starring Terrence J and Rocsi. Shortly after Imo co-wrote the creative ideas for Island Def Jam artist NeYo’s BET special “Year of the Gentlemen”. Recently producing & directing a documentary on Harlem, NY basketball legend God Shammgod for NIKE / Slam Magazine. Imo Haile is now Video Content Director for Worldcast Live; a video live streaming company.

On the come up as a video director, Imo Haile directed music videos for such artists as, Lil Dame, Mikey Jay, Sam London & Mason Parker. In addition he has developed a unique eye and talent for photography. This talent has allowed him to capture art in its physical form of what we call “Life”.
